About Us

At the University of Dayton, the Ohio Iota chapter of Pi Beta Phi is proud to be part of a national sisterhood founded on April 28, 1867, at Monmouth College. What began with 12 courageous women has grown into a vibrant organization with more than 130 collegiate chapters across North America, connecting thousands of members through shared values and lifelong friendship. As one of nine collegiate regions, Ohio Iota upholds Pi Beta Phi’s core values of integrity, lifelong commitment, honor and respect, personal and intellectual growth, philanthropic service, and sincere friendship. These values guide our chapter and shape the experience we strive to create for every member. Our national philanthropy, Read>Lead>Achieve, reflects our commitment to advancing literacy and educational access. Through philanthropic initiatives such as Lemonade for Literacy, Pie a Pi Phi, and Arrowspike, we support this mission while engaging our campus and local community. In addition to our philanthropic efforts, Ohio Iota offers members opportunities for sisterhood, social involvement, campus engagement, and leadership development. We are dedicated to fostering an environment where women can grow personally and intellectually while building connections that last far beyond their time at Dayton.
